Overview

Burger Box is a website for a burger, pizza and pasta restaurant. A full-screen food hero leads into daily deals, a filterable menu, a popular dishes gallery, customer reviews and an online table booking form.

The problem

A restaurant lives or dies on appetite. Visitors needed to see the food immediately, find what they wanted to eat, and act on it, whether that meant ordering or reserving a table.

The goal

Make the food the hero, then keep the path from hungry to ordered as short as possible on every screen size.

Process
01

Discover

Listed what a hungry visitor wants in order: see the food, spot a deal, browse the menu, then order or book.

02

Design

A dark charcoal and golden yellow palette that makes food photography glow, with rounded menu cards and a handwritten script heading.

03

Build

A responsive React and Vite site with a hero banner, menu filtering by category and a collapsing mobile navigation.

04

Ship

Deployed on Vercel, ready to connect to the restaurant's own domain.

A hero that sells the food

A full-bleed burger photo, a short welcome and one bright Order Now button above the fold.

Deals and a filterable menu

Tasty Thursdays and Pizza Days promotions sit above a menu that filters by Burger, Pizza, Pasta and Fries, each with an add-to-cart button.

Gallery, reviews and booking

A popular dishes gallery, customer reviews and a book-a-table form turn interest into a visit.

ReflectionGood food photography does most of the selling. The design job was to stay out of its way and keep the order button within reach.
